Google doesn’t interview 100 men and 100 women at random, though, that’s the flaw in this kind of biological reasoning. There are more than enough qualified coders for Google to have a 50/50 gender split if they wanted to, or to be disproportionately female.
That’s the point of the analogy. If you’re making at team of 70,000 sprinters, it’s literally impossible for them all to be the best in the world, so it’s irrelevant what gender the best in the world is. It’s also impossible for them all to be average, so it’s also irrelevant which gender is better on average.
