I think it’s more the particular fiddles he would be going to. Kawhi Leonard is famously quiet off the court, similar with Butler though not to the same degree, Miami doesn’t have a superstar, New York is a basketball wasteland… Kyrie would instantly be the most public name on any of those teams. Certainly we agree that LeBron’s presence is not universally good, but I think the answer in this case is to take Kyrie at his word. He wants to be The Guy, and he’ll never have that on LeBron’s team.
